ACME Cupping estimates for engine load based on a gear ratio of 1.5:1 @ 2800 RPM.

0.000 = Same as design pitch

0.045 = adds 1” to design pitch

0.075 = adds 1-1/2” to design pitch

0.105 = adds 2” to design pitch

0.135 = adds 2-1/4” to design pitch

Example: If a blade design pitch is 24 + (.075 Cup) effective pitch is 25
