The OJ prop puller is a mechanical inboard prop removal tool that grips a propeller and pulls it straight off a shaft taper using a forcing mechanism — much safer and more controlled than hammering on the shaft. These tools are typically heat-treated alloy or stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance and are sized to match specific shafts.

VERY IMPORTANT: When using an inboard prop puller always leave a nut on the shaft and back nut off only about a ¼” or so. When the prop breaks free the nut can stop the prop and puller from falling off the shaft and possibly causing injury.
