PropOne foul-release coating is a specialized marine propeller coating designed to prevent marine growth—such as barnacles, algae, and slime—from sticking to propellers and running gear. PropOne is a non-toxic, silicone-based foul-release coating. Instead of killing marine organisms like traditional antifouling paints, it creates an ultra-smooth, slick surface that marine growth cannot easily attach to.
How it works
Marine organisms have difficulty bonding to the coated surface
Any growth that does form is easily washed off by water movement while underway
