The principle that enables the shaft mounted "SPURS" to cut so effectively is the "screw action" created as the propeller turns, winding lines, nets or weeds directly into "SPURS" blades, for an instant cut eliminating entanglement or damage to the running gear.

A precision blade rides on a Kevlar/Teflon bearing, kept firmly in place by a wedge-style block mounted on the strut with three securing screws. This creates a stable, low friction cutting platform that performs consistently under load.
